Welcome to challenge #2x11, "Follow The Yellow Brick Road", inspired by [personal profile] yhlee's comment in the previous post (Bwa-ha-ha!).
For this challenge, each icon you make must contain text which follows a path; that is, use the "text along path" function of your graphics program.

Hey, folks, there will be a slight extension for Challenge 2x10, since I won't be able to get to it until the weekend, so you have until the 29th to get your entries in.
Which is just as well, because we've only had SIX entries!

Apologies for the lateness of this, my hand is still not completely better.

Welcome to challenge #2x10, "Curly-Wurly".
For this challenge, each icon you make must have at least one spiral, whether in the background or the foreground, made any way you like, from gradients to brushes to fractal-generators.

Welcome to challenge #2x09, "A Word Is Worth a Thousand Pictures". After last month's "A Picture Paints a Thousands Words", we are going to do the opposite: text icons.

For this challenge, each icon you make must only include words and a very subtle background (a gradiant, a very faded image).

My apologies to y'all, I forgot that this month's challenge was supposed to be finished today, and I'm the mod! Since I should have done a reminder post, not to mention that I'm going to be too busy to do stuff (and also, we've only had one entrant!), I am extending this challenge another week. I will do the voting post next Wednesday, the 24th of March (my time, so for some of you that means the 23rd). So get your creative juices flowing this weekend, and make icons!
