Okay, so we did multi-choice, and that seemed to work. However, I'm wondering if we might adjust the "winners" selection a bit more, to prevent one person (like me) from hogging all the glory. I suggest that, in each section, if someone's icon has already gotten a place, then their other icons get skipped (for that section for that challenge). For example, if Icon A by Person X gets first place in a section, and Icon B by Person X gets second place in a section, and Icon C by Person Y gets third place, then Icon B isn't counted, and Icon C gets second place instead. Does that seem fair? Let me know what you all think.

I think merit on an individual basis is good, because when we vote we don't know who has made the respective icons. I like the fact that the comm is about style and not content, so it's nice to be able to judge a fandom icon against a stock icon and not be swayed by votes for favourite characters/show etc.

Before I saw the results I posted with effect to the above, but then I realised that it's not just yourself that got the votes, I guess I'm guilty of that too and I can fully appreciate/support the thinking behind one icon maker, one icon.

I'll go with whatever the majority is on this.
