Mine were pretty simple - I'll write more tomorrow but there isn't much needs explaining, methinks...

Well done everyone, it was quite difficult to chose, especially with the embodiment of style - everyone went with the prompt and there was great variation.

Actually there's not a lot I can say about How I Did Them... :) they were fairly simple, choose a texture, write the words, animate (and buttonize, yes). The hardest one was actually the dreamboat, which I simply couldn't get as crisp as I wanted to (but being indefatigably me, I liked it best).

The hardest part of a text icon for me was picking a quote/line/joke that gets to me, doesn't need pictures, but that other people who don't live in my jumbled, chaotic, overstuffed-with-junk attic of a mind will have the faintest hope of comprehending (a lot of Goon Show lies, odd catchphrases and other bits and pieces lose out on the last :) I did think of 10066 and All That... after the contest ended :(
