Challenge #18 cancelled - what next?

Challenge #18 got only one entrant besides me. This is not feasible.

This community has not reached critical mass. It's been the same four or so people participating in challenges, and while you've all been terrific, of course it is understandable that you can't always participate. Unless we can get fresh blood in this community, there's really not much point in continuing. The obvious way of getting fresh blood is to promote the hell out of this community, but I don't have the time to do that. I'm quite happy to keep on running challenges (I certainly haven't run out of ideas) but we NEED a "publicity officer". Please? Someone?

I would hate to see this comm fail, some very lovely icons have come out of these challenges.
I know, there's been some fantastic icons; as I said, the current participants have been terrific.

I just have no idea how to go about that.
I guess one would ask the moderators if one could post? Take a look at communities that have "icons" or "100x100" in their interests, and look like their members might be receptive; like, communities for icon tutorials and such.

There's an icon challenge promo community, icontest_promo, which I've posted to occassionally, but I keep forgetting. I also suspect that most of the people who watch that community are the ones who post to it.
