Well done to the winners, there were some fantastic icons to choose from. And thank you very much for the mod's choice! :)

With the leaves, I just had a good stock image that I desaturated and sharpened up a bit, I then had 3 or 4 layers filled with different shades of green which I then turned into burn, color and soft light layers. I just fiddled with the opacity with each until it got to where I was happy with the colouring, nothing uber-technical :)

I keep on forgetting about burn. I think my favourite mode to use in layers is overlay, followed by grain merge. I should branch out a little. 8-)
